Responsibilities:
Review and analyze customers Gerber data and supporting documents to interpret electrical design requirements for PCB manufacturing (10%).
Contribute to company-wide standardization initiatives by developing internal guidelines for PCB Design Process (10%).
Review customer Gerber designs, ensuring manufacturability and compatibility with production processes. Collaborate with design teams to optimize PCB layout and address issues like component placement and trace routing (30%).
CAM Software Utilization: Utilize CAM software to create toolpaths and programs for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. Translate design data into manufacturing instructions and toolpath strategies (20%).
Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and precision. Address any discrepancies or issues in the manufacturing process (10%).
Collaborate with design engineers to understand product specifications and design intent (10%).
Toolpath Optimization: Develop and optimize toolpaths for various machining operations, including milling and turning. Conduct simulations and verifications to ensure that toolpaths meet quality and precision standards (10%).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electric Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant engineering experience in Electric Engineering or a related position.
This position also requires: 3 years of experience with Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) 350 tool software; 3 years of experience reading blueprints and convert Geber into PCB Panel Design; 3 years of experience with stack up calculator and stack up design; 2 years of experience with Polar Software; and 2 years of experience with AutoCAD software for PCB routing and drilling.
